Food is great. My favorite is the Crying Tiger. Here with my family early Friday evening. Not so crowded.

Love the lunch specials here! Such a great deal for what you get. I love the soup that comes with the lunch specials too! My husband ordered the pad thai and I had the yellow curry with chicken. Service is quick and food is consistent. Pricing is based off of your protein choice. I do wish the tofu protein option was the same price as the veggie option. Tofu is priced with chicken and pork. I opted for chicken but was hoping to do half chicken, half tofu, however that is not an option Would come back again for the lunch specials!

I ordered the Crying Tiger for lunch and it was good! The prime cut beef was tender and cooked perfectly. Don't be fooled by the name. I did not shed a tear, ha ha! Service was quick for lunch on a work day and it was a lot. Each order also includes soup that is in a bigger bowl than I would expect for something that is "free". I'll try other dishes next time we're back in Aliso Viejo.

First time trying this location. I ordered the crying tiger. It was so simple delicious I almost forgot to take a pic! The meet was super tender and flavorful. The winner for me though was the crying tiger sauce. It's a citrus based sauce. It had spice but not too strong, I highly recommend.

Honestly probably one of the best Thai places I've even been to! Pad Thai was solid and duck was amazing. Service was good and food came out in a timely manner. Didn't like how the lights were so dim tho. Still, I'd definitely come back!

My friend lives near here and every time I visit I make sure we drop by for a take out or sit-down meal. I love the soups, love the salads too. Lots of vegetarian options too. Would highly recommend!

I visited this place for the first time, always forgetting it's there and I was mind blown by their crying Tiger & Thai iced tea that I went back the next day for a bigger to go order so I can put my fam on it! Mind you, I am Thai/Lao & grew up eating authentic foods so I know my stuff. I was underwhelmed by the papaya salad though because it's a well-known staple in Thai/Lao cuisine. It has no flavor or spice! I was so sad, because this was the main thing I came for. I really wanted sticky rice, bbq chicken or steak and bomb papaya salad but it did not deliver on that part. I'd you're looking for the best crying Tiger and Thai tea, this spot is for you. The lime chili sauce for the crying Tiger is like liquid GOLD. It's amazingly delicious! Perfect tang and spice, it is addicting. The steak was already flavorful alone, but mix the sauce with their hot rice and steak and there is a flavor EXPLOSION. Their pad Thai is up there too, I've had so many pad Thais from homemade to restaurants and I rate it like an 8 up against the rest. So it's good! My boy and I both declared their Thai tea is the best we have ever had and yes, I have had homemade and at other places too. Eaten this type of food all my life and those are the highlights I have from here. The service was okay, like. 6.5 out of 10 I'd say. Friendly enough, but nothing spectacular. Highly recommend and my new go to Thai spot in my city! I'm obsessed.
